What this looks like in practice.
We're currently working with an international network of economists, systems scientists and practitioners exploring new economic models capable of addressing interconnected challenges such as inequality and climate change, while supporting prosperity and wellbeing for all.
Much of this emerging collaboration is being developed through the New Paradigm Coalition, led by Professor Dennis Snower and Professor David Sloan Wilson, and involving networks associated with ProSocial World and UCL’s Institute for Global Prosperity.
Catalysis Hubs and its emerging collaborations across Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire have been identified as a potential applied project through which ideas from economics, complex systems science and cultural evolution can be explored and developed in practice. The aim is to build a strong research and learning foundation that can help the model evolve, demonstrate its impact and, ultimately, scale with integrity.
